1. Four to Five fresh tomatoes
2. Butter
3. Salt
4. Pepper Powder
5. Carrot
6. Garlic
7. Ginger
8. Croutons (optional)
9. Mint leaf(optional)
10 Onions(optional)

There is nothing much required to know before making this tomato soup, all you need is a good mood with one stove and one cauldron that's it.
If we talk about the time it gonna take, then hardly we can say that it will take 20 minutes, not more than that.
Process
So here we go,
1. first of all, chops all tomatoes in small pieces and keep it aside.
2. Melt 1 to 2 tbsp of butter in cauldron or pot.
3. When butter gets melt properly then add.
(a) finely chopped onions(you can leave this step, it's totally optional)
(b)finely chopped garlic
(c)finely chopped ginger(must)
(d)finely chopped carrot(use half carrot of normal size)
4. Now add tomato pieces to it and wait for 5 minutes till your tomatoes get almost liquefy
5. Add 2 to 3 tbsp of sugar to it, sugar will give a nice and sweet flavour to your tomato soup
6. Now add 4 to 5 tbsp tomato sauce like kisaan ketchup or Maggi ketchup. This will give you not only a very nice colour but also it will enhance to taste of your tomato soup if you are not having food colour.
7. Add 2 and a half cup of water to it, make sure of the thickness of the soup, add water accordingly
8. Now this step is totally optional, here you can add a little bit of food colour, it will give you a hotel lookalike soup but the taste will remain the same
9. Now add pepper powder of quantity one -fourth of normal tbsp
10. Now wait till your tomato soup gets boil properly, here you can increase the flame
11. When the tomato soup gets boiled properly, its time to filter your soup with the help of strainer(channi)
12. Now again boil your filtrate soup in a separate pan to get a proper thickness
13. While boiling your soup you can add cornflour to it, a little bit not more than half tbsp
Now your soup is ready to serve

Its totally depend upon how you want to serve, its a kind of presentation. The good presentation will give you professionalism nothing else.To serve take two bowls and pour your tomato soup in it. After that, you can also add croutons or cube shape bread. To enhance its presentation you can put two pieces of mint leaves into the soup.
